I was feeling some back and neck pain due to poor sleeping position and spending all day at my desk. I decided to try this place a few days ago and loooooved it! THE PLACE: Although the neighborhood feels a little sketchy because of its nearby stores that feel dead, the inside of INSPA is decently small and clean. So don’t be fooled by the neighborhood. I saw probably 4-5 narrow body massage rooms. I went into the first room nearest to the main lobby/area which had 3 big suede sofa chairs for the foot massages but I don’t think they can all be used at the same time due to the six feet distancing. STAFF: There are four wonderful ladies. They had masks and alcohol by the entrance. They check your temperature and make you sign a covid form to confirm you aren’t sick, etc. They were responsibly masked even during the massage. They led me straight to the room and started right away. No wait time at all. MASSAGE: (50 for 1 hour body massage) I loved Lily! She was the older asian woman who did my body massage (I only asked for back and not legs) and she was awesome and sweet although barely speaking English! I feel like she gave it her all; her hands were heavy which was my preference, even getting up on the bed just to get my lower back LOL and by the end she put the oil all over my back and gave light massages. Then at the end she did HOT STONES massages throughout my back and arms/hands. It was extremely hot but bearable and I enjoyed it a lot as I was not expecting the stones. TIME: I went in around 6pm-7pm and the place was pretty quiet, I only heard one person coming in for her appointment. In the end, I felt so much better. I’m definitely coming back and requesting for Lily again.
The massage is very good, but when it comes to charging you, whole different story. This was my fourth time here and each time I’ve paid 50.00, maybe 2 more if I’m using my card. 40 for the massage and 10 for the “mandatory tip”. Now they say it’s 45 more the massage and it’s been like that for two years. Would love to come back here for the service but I really dislike people who say one thing and do something else.
It was a nice experience with my daughter. The place was clean. I haven’t gone to other places but I think I would enjoy more if the room had a aromatic candle or incense or even use a aromatic oil.
